The BD Barcelona Designs Shanty Cabinet & Shanty Mirror by Doshi Levien. Imagined as a patchwork of corrugated surfaces that reference improvised dwellings around the world, the Shanty Cabinet features an asymmetric body and every door opens in its own distinct way. Its spontaneous composition of different coloured surfaces disguises a carefully considered volume of storage.
The cabinet is available in various sizes and colours and features a glass top, lacquered MDF doors and drawers and octagonal extruded anodised aluminum legs.
The Shanty Mirror was designed to accompany the cabinet series. The set of mirrors can be used in different combinations or the individual pieces can be used on their own.

BD Barcelona Design prizes artisanal processes over mass production and works with some of the most widely recognised designers in the world. With a large circular mirror that makes reference to the colourful bindi (also knownas Chandlo) worn on the forehead by Hindu women, the Chandlo Dressing Table was designed by London-based design studio Doshi Levien for their 2012 IMM Cologne installation, which displayed their vision of a perfect house. Its seemingly abstract composition reflects the gestures and daily ritual of dressing and grooming.The table is made from solid ash with tubular steel legs painted in a brilliant green and its elegant jewel box is made from plywood. The stool is also made from plywood with steel legs and is upholstered in luxurious fabric with a distinctive bordered grid.

A confluence of the elegant and the unexpected, Buster + Punch’s lighting designs are inspired by the fashion, music and subculture scenes of London, injecting a distinct British attitude into its extraordinary collection. Founded in 2012 by London architect and industrial designer, Massimo Buster Minale, the craftsmanship of the British blacksmith tradition is celebrated in every design.
Buster + Punch’s Hero range features a hand-forged 3mm bronzed gunmetal circular frame with naked pendant bulbs that can either be suspended through the centre or inserted horizontally into the frame. Featuring matte-black rubber detailing, the light fittings are made from solid knurled brass soaked in olive oil to preserve their appearance.
The Hooked range features single or grouped pendants with hooks housed in either a single rubber ceiling rose or a wall fitting, which allows light to be raised or lowered. Bulbs can be nude or fitted with a shade. Like the Hero range, Hooked is also made from bronzed gunmetal and solid knurled brass and matte-black rubber detailing.
