Also displayed is this lovely collection of ‘Cell’ tables by Keith Melbourne. Inspired by microscopic plant cell structures, the Cell tables comprise of unique side and coffee table forms. The versatile Tub Chair by Adam Goodrum for one/third has an understated simplicity that is both intriguing and beautiful.

Tub is an originally design collection by one/third  The Tub series includes a single armchair, 2 seater lounge, coffee table and a uniquely designed bench featuring an armchair. Fabric or leather may be specified for the upholstered components whilst the timber bases are available in American Ash or solid Tasmanian Oak in a natural or coloured stain finish.

one/third is a collaboration of five designers including Alexander Lotersztain, Adam Goodrum, Helen Kontouris, Jon Goulder and Matthew Prince. Offering considered, contemporary design, the collection is manufactured in Australia (Tasmania) with a focus on craftsmanship and quality.

We love this Pleat chair by designer Chris Hardy. The contemporary stool that pays homage to Verner Panton’s ‘S Chair’, and before that Poul Kjaerholm’s ‘Cantilevered Lounge Chair’.

With stitching detail inspired by fine suit tailoring, you can’t go past the Tailored Couch from Melbourne furniture and lighting designer Ross Gardam.

We love the ultra-clean geographic shape of both the couch and table range, characteristic of the collection. Both items are finished with beautiful oak legs and complementary colour palettes that would work in most settings.

This may be first time we have featured the work of Ross Gardam but it certainly won’t be the last. We are excited to see such great design and aesthetic refinement coming out of Melbourne.

DOMO have released an exclusive new leather furniture collection including this beautifully crafted, hand sewn swivel armchair. 

The Swiss de Sede swivel armchair was first designed and manufactured in 1971 and is meticulously crafted from the highest quality leather producing a smooth buttery finish. This great little Duo stool by Melbourne design studio Olio Objects can be used as a stool, side table or hung upside down as a serving tray/ shelf. The design is held together by friction (the Tasmanian Oak dowel is tapered to fit securely within the copper fittings). Ready made parts inspired this fun design. 

Olio Objects is a design studio started by Georgi Lewis that creates products and the processes to manufacture, promote and sell those products. The aim of the studio is to design with the end in mind and make objects that promote valuable crafts, are created responsibly and that can be enjoyed by the customer on more than one level.

The inspiration for this experimental piece came from a challenging brief to design a low tech product that could be made in a home workshop, out of standardised existing materials. This item can be made completely from salvaged materials.

The Klag chair by Melbourne artist / designer Dale Hardiman. Klag is an experiment consisting of the new concrete substitute ET-21, a Fly-Ash and resin based product by Exile Global Technologies. An interesting project and good use of a by-product.

How intriguing are these furniture forms by Swarovski. Beautifully crafted from various materials including concrete, wood and leather they are perforated by cavernous openings with the interior surface encrusted with thousands of Swarovski crystals. The furniture is then lit from within creating an amazing contrast of textures.

Lighting and furniture design company Alex Earl are producing a lovely range of designs, including beautiful custom furniture pieces. All manufacturing is completed in-house using state of the art equipment with FSC approved plywoods and solid timbers.
