We are excited to see Melbourne-made Southern Ice Porcelain was selected for the pendants. “This particular porcelain cries out to be illuminated,” says Steve McClure, ceramicist and Australian craftsman. “I wanted to let the material speak loudest - the translucence and the beautiful warmth of the material when lit from within. Rather than making the material do what I wanted, I have tried to show the qualities of the material wherever possible, its fluidity, colour, texture and finished strength.”
